The impact Yuvan has made

Yuvan(1999)-The name that was not given a chance even when guys chatted about tamil music
Yuvan(2003)-This name is almost more frequently chanted when it comes to tamil music.

He is just AMAZING. When asked regarding his mentor on his music he said openly that his guru will be ofcourse his father but when came to selecting his mentor, he was not a bit shy to reveal it was Rehman. He also accepted that the pattern of his music resembled rehman and will resemble him in the future too.On his challenges through out his carrier, he gave the gold medal to Finding the perfect team that he will fit in, the silver medal to Raam,7/G rainbow colony as the films had a lot of vaccum which needed music to be filled in and the bronze to Dheena as that was his first film that got a "larger than life" image hero starring in it and shining in a film of that sort with music is always difficult in indian cinema.

Music pundits always find his BGMs and the beats especially are just a case of remodification and he is not very special in it. Well, i'm not one among those and i just can't ignore his mastery over theme tunes that he has brought back as a trend after a long gap previously set by his father (Punnagai mannan,Aboorva sagotharaagal ..). His inner instinct towards western music was secretly exposed when he had those bass guitars, chords and was openly exposed in his fewer films which had almost a fully western song in it.(Baby baby, pushing it hard).

The very fact that his songs can't be hummed as easily was haunting me to find the secrecy. When myself and my cousin discussed regarding this this was due to the Asutham (impurity) added to the original ragas. Impurity wears a different cloak here. The more the impuriy, the more will the song will look different and hard to be hummed.

Ganguly and controversies - Ongoing saga

The time taken to deliberate on the squad to take on Sri Lanka said much about the different pressures at work on the selection committee. Eventually, the need to move on and forge a new direction for Indian cricket lost out to that great enemy of excellence: sentiment. Having stripped Sourav Ganguly of the Test captaincy and given it to the man best equipped to lead India, the five wise men couldn't find the strength to go the distance.
Ganguly's inclusion suggests that he is certain to play the first Test at Chennai, which means that both Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif will miss out. With Sachin Tendulkar back in the fray, the top four are locked in, leaving just two middle-order spots up for grabs. Since his breakthrough series against Australia in 2001, VVS Laxman has comfortably outperformed Ganguly - averaging 51.17 to his former captain's 36.23 - leaving the team management to pick one from Ganguly, Yuvraj and Kaif.
Given that he's no Jonty Rhodes in the field, we can safely assume that Ganguly wasn't selected for 12th-man duty. But by saying that he was selected as a batting allrounder, Kiran More has only ensured that his panel will be the butt of most cricketing jokes for some time to come.
Though he has proved to be taking wickets in deomestic sides ( 5 wicket haul against Maharastra Date-23rd),Ganguly has taken 25 wickets in his 84 Tests and prior to taking two in two matches against South Africa last year, his last wicket had been way back in 2001, when he finished with figures of 2 for 69 at Kandy. To tag him an allrounder is almost as farcical as considering Mike Tyson a heavyweight contender.
Those figures reveal nothing of the circumstances though. After scoring a fabulous hundred in a crisis situation at Lahore in April 2004, Yuvraj was shunted up to open the innings against a formidable Australian attack, and his failure used as a convenient excuse to sideline him. Kaif's three Tests included two fighting half-centuries against McGrath, Gillespie and Warne - the finest array of bowlers to visit India. Both men have done little wrong in the one-day matches played this season, and while limited-overs form is no criteria for Test selection, there's no doubt that both are ready for bigger challenges. With a rejuvenated Pakistan and a strong England looming on the horizon, a Sri Lankan attack dependent on Muttiah Muralitharan and Chaminda Vaas would have offered ideal preparation.

RP Singh's steady and incisive displays with the ball have also been rewarded with a Test berth, and those who point to Zaheer Khan's haul in the Duleep Trophy while whispering of vendettas clearly haven't taken the trouble to peruse his Test figures. Since a five-wicket haul in helpful conditions in the first innings at Brisbane in December 2003.If that's the stuff that spearheads are made of, then a pillow is a lethal weapon.
All those issues though will be obscured in the coming days by the Ganguly saga. Just how will he slot back in as one of the boys? And more importantly, how will he get along with Greg Chappell, who appears intent on taking the team in a particular direction in tandem with Rahul Dravid? His selection is clearly recognition of services rendered, but only his bat can answer whether he deserves such consideration. Patience, as the ebullient Michael Clarke discovered this week, is finite.
And there is no probable eleven for chennai test if at all there is any injury setback in the side.

1 of the Stupidest statement ever made

For a question from a reporter, kiran more the chairman of the indian selection ha sreplied that they were not satisfied with the captaincy of ganguly in the last 3 yrs and that is one of the prime reasons why he is not the captain for the 2006 srilanka series.

Should a selection comittee require 3 years for deciding the performace of a captain. If the captain has not performed good in year 1, why is he given the same for the year 2 & 3.

Lord shani at his very best partnership with ganguly.Amazingly, the BCCI has brilliantly succeded in sidelining this man and now he is in a situation to fight for his position in any form of the match.Interestingly, ganguly is the second run-getter in the year 2004-2005 next only to Mr.dependable.His worst case scenario is the pakistan in india-2005 and that has paid heavily with his captaincy and his position in the team.

Being an extreme fanatic of DADA, i await the test squad for the srilanka series.

Bing adamant

Starting from the day when i threw my house key to the neighbour's house (ofcourse, accidentally) and when i was was asked regarding that and even though the situation was in favour of me, i kept on replying "i don't know" , just to stick to what i started without knowing that this was what others called as Bing adamant.

Then, it continued through my school ages .When i returned to school after a month's leave due to Chichen pox,i was adamant that i lost the progress in home report even though my teacher said that i wasn't given the same to home at all. As times passed, the adamancy never ever changed.

Though i passed the ages of progress report, there were other decisions which i was adamant as i thought i at first. Though some of them reaped me good harvest, the remaining were all washed away in floods inclucing my decision to take 1st group and the worst being joining an engg course .

Again the choice of my favourites came as my next adamancy providers. For cinema and sports (cricket to be precise as that was the only sport i've got a good knowledge on) i took ajith and ganguly. I've backed them to my fullest, knowing that their weakness were known to the world of those sorts.

Ennatha Panrathu.. Again i looked at them as my favourites as they gave me chances to defend them. The verbal fights i had with my friends supporting my favs gave me enough confidence on my "backing myself" capability and today as i look back towards my adamancy,Ha Ha Enna life da machan. Amazing really.

Freedom of speech, voice, expressions, comments in india esp south india esp south india

Poor kushboo.Life was going too smooth for her.She played an infamous but different role in Power of women and her show "JACKPOT" was top rated. She was also in the spotlight when due to her furiousness towards Thangar Bachaan for his comments on actress' .(Excerpts :Someone who acts just for the sake of money is nothing less than prostituting.)

Suddenly, it is dark clouds all over her skies.Recently for a typical INDIA TODAY interview/survey, she poured her views on unsafe sex in tamilnadu. In the same, she was asked for her modernistic views on premarital sex in tamilnadu. She extravagantly answered it that it is occuring predominantly in T.N and the percentage of a girl being virgin at the time of marriage is very less.

Now, all the tamizhans have woke up and they are extremely angry at her and more than a dozen of cases are filed on her. when i asked my mom "Does your E.Pi.Co(I.P.C) have rulings for these of these sorts ?", she replied yes and she explained that when anyone hurts a mass community verbally, the victim is guarenteed imprisonment for a minimum period of 3 months and if those words pushes the hurted to suicide, then the victim has a rigorus imprisonment of 7 yrs.

My doubt or anxiety is not against this I.P.C 302 (Never wonder .This too comes under 302. Includes a lot rape,theft,..). My anxiety is upon those who make a fuss out of nothing. This regional parties tries to supress the freedom of voice of anyone in their region. They leave only those who are allied with them.

In this modern trend, the IT people have got their freedom of voice preciously safeguarded with so many things like forums, mails, polls etc., But, for the rural people who either they go along the leader who is not the one who leads them but the one who improves his political calibre by showing to be voicing for them or they never turn their heads towards these. Not even a single cadre in D.M.K showed any unhappiness in Mr.M.K Stalin being posted as the next party leader.

By the example, it should be never thought of an issue related to family politics.Whatever be the issue, people who are the core of an republic nation never ever is given a chance to voice their issue. It either gets atteneuated as it travels the various channels where it should have been routed or it is not even heard.

Well, there is a new tamil forum for this help. Of course, it is not the first of it's kind. But the reason for it being started is the freedom to show your opinion in public(may not be true with the last word public alone). It is www.karuthu.com and i'm still looking for a good topic to start pouring my views in it as there are only biased discussions going along still. This karuthu is started by Mr.Karthi Chidambaram, son of Indian F.M Mr.P.C. The best part is the inauguration was attended by Kanimozhi, daughter of D.M.K chief Mr.M.Karunanidhi.

Let us believe in the Gen Next concept.
